Big Boy Bed

Josh and his cousin Grant put the new bunk bed together this past weekend. They said it actually wasn't too difficult. They also installed a fan in Gavin's room which has been needing to be done since we moved in. It gets really hot in his room.

We have been talking to Gavin this week about how the crib will become sister's bed and he was getting new bunk beds. He was excited to say the least when he got to get in his new bed. I wish I could say he was excited about the whole bed but all he really liked was climbing up and down the ladder and playing up on top. Therefore the ladder gets put up during nap and bed time. Gavin has voiced his rejection to this idea clearly. In fact when he is climbing up and sitting on the top bunk but wants to get down and get something he tells me not to put the ladder up or go night night that he wants to go up 1 more time. (Which in toddler talk means until he wants to be done.)
